Eli Entertainment brings the epic postmodern fantasy, "The Mermaid's Myth" to screens this summer. Starring both Jessie-Laura Cox & Ellie Dales, this film is a long-awaited tale that explores the hidden creatures in our world.

After young teens Sonnie Emby and Alexa Lacey, played by Cox's and Dales' respectively, discover an emblem to an alternate world, they embark on a perilous mission to prevent the malevolent sirens from unleashing tragedy among the Earth.
Of course they must acknowledge that not everyone they meet along the way will be a patron, introducing Earl, played by Sale.
The girls must confront all that comes their way and even two mermaid's that lurk in the waters below them.
As they navigate their way through a suffocating woods, the truth hits the girls,they can not even trust one another - Sonnie experiences changes that are not humanely possible, in fact her lower-body transforms, she does not have feet anymore.
Alexa rapidly tries to cope with almost loosing her bestfriend, and savagely attempts to restore her back to her true self.

Jessie-Laura Cox as Sonnie Emby
Jessie-Laura Cox, 20, is an actress born in Essex, England. She is best known for her role in the film 'Her Duplicity' in 2016. However, she has been acting since the age of 7 and has appeared in several films and TV shows playing minor roles. For example the she played 11 year old Bella Rones in 'The Room' back in 2008. In 2018, she has been awarded the role of main character, Sonnie Emby in 'The Mermaid's Myth'. This role, with Eli Entertainment, will be her biggest yet. She is predicted to be up for nomination for best actress 2018.
Ellie Dales as Alexa Lacey
Ellie Dales,19, born in London, England is an actress and singer. She also appeared in Lionsgate's 'Her Duplicity' alongside her cast member, Cox. She was recognised by Eli Entertainment back in 2016, when filming for 'Her Duplicity' and was later asked to audition for the role of Sonnie Emby, however was not successful, when the role was awarded to Cox. However, when the part of Alexa Lacey was introduced, Dales was determined to get the spot. Although she has always been in the spotlight as a singer, acting is fairly new to her but she is excelling well at it. We expect to be seeing a lot more of her in the future. After the release of 'The Mermaid's Myth', Eli Entertainment are hoping she will have a shot at the 'New Comer' award.
Jack Sale as Earl
Jack Sale, 36, was born in London, England. He appeared in his first film, The Boy, at just age 3. Throughout his acting career, he has appeared in several films and TV series. He is best known for his role in the ongoing TV show 'Run', where he plays Detective Joles. He has been part of all four seasons, from 2013-present. However, when awarded the role of Earl in 'The Mermaid's Myth', he was ecstatic and focused purely on this film, but will be returning to 'Run' for the final season in 2018. He is often portrayed as an intelligent character due to his appearance and due to acting from a young age, he is very experienced in this field.
Stella-Lee Domie
Domie has played a major role in the making of 'The Mermaid's Myth', including the role of both director and producer. She has worked closely with Lionsgate over the years to produce some award winning films. In 2004, her film, 'The Life of Tommy' won Best Picture at the film awards and more recently she won her first individual award for Best Director in 2015. Throughout her career, her films have been up for nominations 14 times and has won 6 awards. She has been working on several projects over the past three years, 'The Mermaid's Myth' being her main priority for it's release in Summer 2018.
